Description

IL LIBRO

Did you know that there are important people who are not famous? And that unknown people are often more important than famous ones? This is precisely the case with the Boer Heinrich Richard Müller.

A cosmopolitan patron, engineer, agricultural and tourism entrepreneur. A humble, elegant, and taciturn promoter of cultural initiatives rooted in the local territory.

The gentle pen travels from South Africa to Versilia, along the Apuan Alps, and, after much wandering, finds a home in Sibari. A fresh, sober, and witty writing style that succinctly narrates and softens the harsh events that occurred along the Gothic Line during the Second World War, while highlighting love and the major global and local changes in the agricultural, tourist, and cultural world. But the real gem of the  globe-trotter Müller is his passion for archaeology, a shared passion with his wife Anna Toscano. Two noble, serious, and honest families. A beautiful and perfect couple in a great love story. A unique novel that reveals new and different events from 1915 to 1970.
